We are all getting older, and we all have different needs and pains to solve in our daily routine.
New services and technologies proliferate, the potential of those mediums is rapidly changing our life, however different people are facing increasing difficulties understanding and using these new technologies.
While Assistive Technology has the potential to improve peoples' quality of life and increase their independence, older adults may find it difficult to identify truly beneficial solutions.
On January 28th, 2020, I'm glad to give the lecture "Improving Home Environments for Older Adults" in the course "Perspectives in Assistive Technology", invited by David L. Jaffe, MS, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University.
This lecture will offer an overview of the main challenges that older adults face and provide critical knowledge on successful design techniques through numerous examples and a discussion of guidelines for shaping inclusive environments.
It's not only matter of UX (User Experience) it's matter of People Experience.
